The developers have responded to several community requests.
Recently the team behind Payday 2 launched a highly requested DLC — a subscription that grants access to all previously released add-ons. The cooperative shooter has now received an update.
Starbreeze Studio issued a small patch: “We’ve updated the security certificate that could interfere with matchmaking for users on older operating systems. The game is now future-ready.”
The title remains popular, but Payday 2 has been receiving “mixed” reviews on Steam lately — the full edition’s price was briefly increased shortly before the subscription rolled out (after a wave of criticism the studio called it a “mistake” and reverted the change).
