9-Year-Old Opera Singer Victory Brinker Follows ‘America’s Got Talent’ Run With Christmas EP: Exclusive

Following her breakout run on America’s Got Talent over the summer, 9-year-old opera singer Victory Brinker is set to release a Christmas EP next week, Billboard can exclusively announce.

The Wonder of Christmas — Brinker’s first EP — includes four tracks: “Silent Night,” “O Holy Night,” “Ave Maria” and “Pie Jesu.”

“I am so excited that my first record is for Christmas and I can sing songs everyone knows and loves,” the Latrobe, Pennsylvania, singer says in a statement. “I hope it makes everyone happy this Christmas season.”

The EP, produced by Daniel Blake and marketed and distributed through Monark Entertainment, will be out on all digital retailers and streaming services Nov. 12.

Brinker left a big impression on the America’s Got Talent judges this past summer, earning the show’s first five-person Golden Buzzer, which sent her straight through to the live shows, thanks to a beyond-her-years performance of “Juliet’s Waltz” from the Gounod opera Romeo & Juliet. She made it to the top 10 of the competition and performed the Celine Dion and Andrea Bocelli duet “The Prayer” with Pentatonix during September’s finale.

During the second round of AGT quarterfinals, judge Simon Cowell made a bold prediction about Brinker’s future. “I do remember many years ago, on another show, an artist called Carrie Underwood came on and auditioned for me, and I said, ‘You’re going to sell millions and millions of records.’ And I was right,” he said, recalling his American Idol days. “I’m going to make a prediction: You’re going to be one of the biggest stars to emerge from one of these shows. Because you have a unique, special talent, and I think you are incredible.”
