Amber Mark: Three Dimensions Deep [PMR/Interscope]

Since issuing her Conexão EP in 2018, New York–based singer Amber Mark has shared a handful of new singles and covered the likes of Sisqo, Eddie Kendricks, and Nirvana. Three Dimensions Deep is her full-length debut, assembled around a three-act structure. She shared “Competition,” “Softly,” “Foreign Things,” “What It Is,” and “Worth It” from the album ahead of its arrival. In his review of Three Dimensions Deep, Eric Torres writes, “Energetic, lush, and measured, Three Dimensions Deep is a cohesive debut from Mark that doesn’t lose sight of the bespoke sound that she’s developed over the years.”

Modern Nature: Island of Noise [Bella Union]

A re-read of Shakespeare’s The Tempest inspired the title of Island of Noise, Jack Cooper’s latest album fronting the loose-limbed London outfit Modern Nature. The project is the third release as Modern Nature from the former Ultimate Painting guitarist, following the 2020 mini-album Annual and 2019’s How to Live.
