’28 Years Later: Temple of Bones’ Released Online

The visceral horror feature 28 Years Later: Temple of Bone has officially made its debut on international streaming platforms.

Starring Ralph Fiennes and Jack O’Connell, the film picks up the journey of Spike (Alfie Williams), a central figure from the 28 Years Later narrative. The plot follows the young protagonist as he becomes entangled with a shadowy cult led by the enigmatic Jimmy Crystal (O’Connell), whose followers have descended into a world of extreme brutality and lawless vigilantism.

Directed by Nia DaCosta (The Marvels), the project features a screenplay penned by Alex Garland, the visionary writer behind the original 28 Days Later.

While Temple of Bone struggled to find its footing at the global box office following its January release—earning $56 million against a $63 million production budget—it has been met with significant critical acclaim. The film currently maintains an impressive 92% “Fresh” rating on Rotten Tomatoes.
