Watch Toto Cover Weezer’s “Hash Pipe”

Back in May, Weezer coated Toto’s 1982 hit “Africa,” satisfying an obscure and long-running fan request. It was a success—actually, their first in a decade—and now, Toto have returned the favor, as a reader factors out. Below, watch them cowl Weezer’s 2001 single “Hash Pipe” in Vancouver. “We figured since we were smoking hash since before they were born, that’s the one we should do,” Steve Lukather says, introducing the efficiency. “This is our tribute to Weezer, god bless ’em.”

Since the discharge of “Africa,” Weezer performed the track on “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” with a member of Toto and launched it as a 7″ vinyl single, together with another Toto cover on the B-side.
