Developed by Sabotage Studio—the creative minds behind The Messenger—Sea of Stars serves as a distant prequel to their previous hit. Drawing profound inspiration from golden-era JRPGs like Chrono Trigger and Final Fantasy VI, the story follows the odyssey of Valere and Zale. These two Solstice Warriors, blessed with the powers of the Sun and Moon, join forces with their exuberant childhood friend and “warrior cook,” Garl, to thwart the horrific monstrosities of an ancient alchemist known as The Fleshmancer.

It is worth noting that the mobile iteration currently appears to omit the free post-game expansion, Throes of the Watchmaker. It remains to be seen if this additional content will be integrated into the mobile version at a later date.
