John Summit Unveils Stacked Phase One Lineup for Experts Only Festival Return
The curtain has officially been raised on the initial roster for the highly anticipated second edition of John Summit’s Experts Only festival. Following a triumphant debut, the house music heavyweight is returning to New York with a curated selection of industry leaders and rising stars.
Anchoring the festival, Summit is slated for a massive solo performance and will also join forces with bass titan Subtronics for a special set under their collaborative moniker, Subjohnics. The Phase One announcement features a diverse array of global talent, including British rave architects Prospa, experimental producer Rohaan, and bass innovator LYNY.
The lineup is further bolstered by heavy hitters such as Taiki Nulight, Devault, and Partiboi69, alongside Dreya V, OMRI., and Jackie Hollander. Rounding out the first wave are Airrica, Gabss, MADI, Soraya, and Korolova. Organizers have confirmed that even more artists will be revealed in the coming months.
Experts Only is set to take over Randall’s Island Park on September 19-20, reclaiming the same iconic New York City venue where the festival first launched. For those looking to secure their spot, tickets will be available starting April 3. A dedicated presale kicks off at 10 a.m. ET, followed by the general public sale at 12 p.m. ET.
The inaugural 2024 edition was a massive success, drawing a crowd of 50,000 fans and effectively filling the void in the New York festival landscape. The event is a collaborative production between Medium Rare, Relentless Beats, and EMW.
Summit’s vision for the festival remains rooted in authenticity. Reflecting on the event’s evolution, he previously noted that the festival serves as a platform for the artists and friends within his label’s inner circle. His goal is to maintain a “family affair” atmosphere, prioritizing genuine musical synergy over the traditional corporate festival model focused solely on ticket-moving headliners.
