BTS continues to ride the wave of their recent chart success with a refreshing new live performance of “SWIM.” The track, which recently dominated the Billboard Hot 100, is a standout single from their latest masterpiece, ARIRANG. To celebrate, the group shared a vibrant, summery rendition of the song filmed at an indoor aquatic center.
In the video premiered on Tuesday, March 31, RM, Jin, Suga, j-hope, Jimin, V, and Jung Kook are highlighted through playful solo segments before the septet gathers on a row of poolside lounge chairs. RM commands the scene from a lifeguard perch, while Jin and V lean into the whimsical theme by sporting duck-shaped inflatable rings. Suga is seen interacting with the environment by handing out flotation devices to patrons at the pool.
Despite the humid, water-filled setting, the members maintain their sharp aesthetic, performing in sophisticated, tailored suits. The clip ends on a high note as the group sprints toward the pool, teasing a collective plunge that happens just off-camera.
The release of this “Swimming Pool” version follows the historic news that “SWIM” debuted at the pinnacle of the Hot 100, marking the seventh time BTS has secured a No. 1 hit. Their album ARIRANG also enjoyed a massive debut, claiming the top spot on the Billboard 200 with 641,000 equivalent album units—the group’s seventh chart-topping LP in the United States.
While the swimming pool set was a one-time occasion, the group is currently preparing for a massive global stadium tour. This latest visual offers the ARMY a glimpse into the high-energy performances the band is planning for their return to the stage. During a recent interview on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, V hinted at what’s to come, noting, “We have prepared every single aspect like a secret weapon. It’s going to give you chills.”
