YG has claimed that he was kicked off of an American Airlines flight because of racism. “Fuck @AmericanAir THEY RACIST,” YG tweeted. In an accompanying video, taken on the jet bridge, he stated, “They kicked me off the plane. They said I’m drunk. I’m sober than a motherfucker. Racist-ass motherfuckers.” Replying to YG’s tweet and video, American Airlines tweeted, “In our culture, every interaction with a customer or team member should be grounded in respect. Please meet us in DMs with more info.”
According to TMZ, American claims that YG was faraway from the airplane “due to being intoxicated.” He was reportedly flying from Los Angeles to New York City, the place he’s scheduled to carry out tonight (August 14) on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.”
Pitchfork has contacted representatives for YG.
