Erykah Badu is the most recent visitor on NPR’s “Tiny Desk Concert” series. After introducing herself, her band, and her varied aliases, she performs “Rimshot” (from Baduizm) and “Green Eyes” (from Mama’s Gun). Watch it go down beneath.

She was joined for the efficiency by a seven-piece band: RC Williams, Braylon Lacy, Cleon Edwards, Frank Moka, Kenneth Whalum, Keyon Harrold, and Dwayne Kerr. Yesterday, the trailer dropped for What Men Want, the brand new gender-flip of What Women Want starring Badu as a psychic whose tea potion means that you can hear males’s ideas.
