We are excited to return to Bend, Oregon, from June 6th to 9th to participate in the Western Star‘s extraordinary Star Nation Experience 2025! Alongside us, Western Star Trucks and the Star Nation community, two fortunate American Truck Simulator players have won this all-inclusive trip. Let’s introduce them.

Last year, we had the privilege of joining Western Star Trucks for the 2024 Star Nation Experience—an exhilarating journey through Oregon’s rugged wilderness. The event, featuring off-road trucking, fly fishing, and ATV adventures, was a memorable celebration of the Western Star community. A highlight was the exclusive tour and driver challenge at Daimler Truck’s High Desert Proving Grounds in Madras. You can view our SCS On The Road episode from last year’s event below. This year’s experience promises to be just as thrilling.
Recently, Western Star announced the winners, inviting not only participants from their own community but also two ATS players to join this unique experience. They are also bringing back two former SNE alumni, Casey LaDelle and Tatiana DeYoung, to coach this year’s Get Tough Challenge. As mentioned, we are thrilled to be part of this exceptional event with Oscar and Beny representing us. They’ll connect with the outstanding group of winners and the Western Star team while documenting the entire weekend for a special SCS On The Road episode. Now, let’s meet our two participants from the #BestCommunityEver!
Tyler works for a construction firm specializing in large-scale infrastructure projects, an industry where robust, heavy-duty equipment is crucial. Off the worksite, he’s an enthusiastic American Truck Simulator player, finding a strong connection between his real-world experiences and his passion for virtual trucking. What strikes him most is the authenticity and detail of Western Star trucks in the game.

«Western Stars feel like the last rugged trucks on the market. The new 49X is one tough truck that offers a comfortable experience,» he says, having driven the truck himself; he truly appreciates its strength and comfort.
Alex is a devoted fan of Western Star and American Truck Simulator, with a connection to the brand dating back to his childhood.

«My parents met in Portland, and during a visit there as a child, I saw my first Western Star tridem log truck, which left a lasting impression. It has become my favorite brand to play with, logging thousands of miles in both an SFA and an SBA 49X. I experienced a medical event seven years ago that left me barely able to walk at my worst in the hospital. I fought back, working through years of physical therapy and exercises to recover, so #NeverBackDown isn’t just a slogan for me; it’s a mantra for overcoming challenges.»
We extend our gratitude to Western Star Trucks for this amazing opportunity to partake in this adventure again, along with our community members. Stay tuned to Western Star’s Facebook and Instagram, as well as our X/Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, Bluesky, and Facebook so you don’t miss any updates from the Star Nation Experience 2025, which Oscar and Benny from our team will also attend. Oregon, here we come!
