Ready or Not Map Design Contest 2.0

Attention Officers!

Today, we will provide you with detailed information about the upcoming mapping contest.

Contrasting with our previous contest where participants enjoyed complete creative freedom, this edition requires contestants to design a map inspired by an existing map, whether from the past or present.

You may choose to overhaul an existing map, give it a new life with your unique modifications, or breathe fresh air into an old map by adding your personal touch. The extent of the modification will significantly impact the judging process. For example, a revamped and freshly reconstructed Twisted Nerve besieged post-disaster is likely to receive higher recognition than a mere weather change in Port Hokan.

Maps that fail to demonstrate a significant level of modification, such as merely increasing the number of AI in a standard RON map, will not qualify as legitimate entries.

Regardless of the approach taken by map creators, the maps can either be extracted from the game for modifications or recreated using extracted elements, but they must principally be based on a classic or current VOID Map.

For convenience, all previous maps and blockout maps are accessible for the competition.

Similar to the last contest, winners will receive a cash prize, with additional rewards available as more are secured.

First Prize: $3,000 USD
Second Prize: $2,000 USD
Third Prize: $1,000 USD
