Победителей премии Golden Joystick Awards 2021 назвали 23 ноября. Лучших в своих категориях выбирали с помощью пользовательских голосований. В 2021-м на GJA появились две новые категории — «лучшее железо» и «лучшая видеоигра всех времён».
Больше всего наград получила Resident Evil Village — хоррор от Capcom победил в четырёх номинациях, включая «игру года». Следом по числу премий расположилась Final Fantasy 14.
Лучшей игрой на PlayStation стала Resident Evil Village, на Xbox — Psychonauts 2, а на Switch — Metroid Dread.
«Железом» всех времён признали ПК, а «лучшей игрой за всё время» — оригинальную Dark Souls.
