Steven Tyler’s legal professional has despatched a stop and desist letter to Donald Trump, demanding the president stops enjoying Aerosmith’s music at rallies, Variety studies. In the letter, excerpted by Variety, Tyler’s legal professional claims that Trump lately performed Aerosmith’s 1993 hit “Livin’ on the Edge” at a West Virginia rally with out Tyler’s permission. “By using ‘Livin’ on the Edge’ without our client’s permission, Mr. Trump is falsely implying that our client, once again, endorses his campaign and/or his presidency,” the letter reportedly states. The new stop and desist letter doesn’t mark Aerosmith’s first authorized motion towards Trump: In 2015, a similar course of action was taken over then-candidate Trump’s use of “Dream On.” Trump said on Twitter, “Even though I have the legal right to use Steven Tyler’s song, he asked me not to. Have better one to take its place!”

This previous weekend, Aerosmith performed with Post Malone on the 2018 MTV Video Music Awards. They closed out the present with “Dream On” and “Toys in the Attic.”
