Héloïse Letissier, higher referred to as the French pop artist Christine and the Queens, has shared a video for her new tune, “5 Dollars.” The clip, directed by Colin Solal Cardo, follows Christine as she will get dressed for the day. Watch it beneath. Christine describes the visible as, “American Gigolo with a twist.”

“It’s dealing with some kind of love — the kind you can buy,” Christine says of the tune in a press release. “It’s a literal interpretation. A note for a shag — how surprisingly soothing this can be! The power ratio runs clear, like water in your hands; it becomes a pure gesture of love, of ultimate consent.”

“5 Dollars” is off Christine and the Queens’ forthcoming album, Chris, which is due out September 21. It follows the beforehand launched singles “Doesn’t Matter” and “Girlfriend” with Dâm-Funk. Her final album was 2014’s debut Chaleur Humaine, which acquired a self-titled American repackaging in 2015.
