Asobo Studio has launched a gameplay trailer for A Plague Tale: Innocence that reveals the game’s swarms of ravenous rats in all their icky glory.
A Plague Tale: Innocence was unveiled at E3 2017, and Focus Home Interactive and Asobo Studio have launched the 16-minute gameplay sequence that was proven behind-closed-doors on the occasion final 12 months.
The journey game follows protagonist Amica and her youthful brother Hugo as they make their means by way of the French countryside on this specific snippet, avoiding French and British troopers embroiled within the Hundred Years’ War.
Amica isn’t kitted out with an arsenal of weapons. Instead, she makes use of a torch to maintain the rats at bay, and a sling to lob rocks at oncoming troopers, making them drop their lanterns, and letting the swarm of rats transfer in for the kill.
The story kicks off in 1349, and sees Amica and Hugo on the run from Inquisition troopers.
