Underworld / Iggy Pop: Teatime Dub Encounters EP [Caroline International]

British digital group Underworld have teamed with Iggy Pop on a four-song joint EP. They described it because the “result of a few clandestine hotel room recording sessions” that was made within the weeks following Iggy’s 2016 report Post Pop Depression. They met when Underworld’s Ricky Smith was overseeing the T2 Trainspotting soundtrack, which featured a Prodigy remix of Iggy’s “Lust for Life.” The EP consists of the one “Bells & Circles.”

Channel Tres: Channel Tres EP [Godmode]

Channel Tres is a Compton-based rapper and producer who has collaborated with artists like Kehlani and Duckwrth. Now, he’s dropped his self-titled debut EP. It options the beforehand launched observe “Jet Black,” which was co-written and produced by Godmode founder and former Pitchfork contributor Nick Sylvester.

Tony Molina: Kill the Lights [Sumberland]

Kill the Lights is the most recent effort from Bay Area musician Tony Molina. The 10-track LP is comprised of guitar pop like “Wrong Town” and “Nothing I Can Say.” Molina shared his final album Dissed and Dismissed in 2014. In 2016, he dropped the EP Confront the Truth.

G Herbo: Swervo [Machine Entertainment Group]

Swervo, Chicago rapper G Herbo’s new album, was produced in full by Atlanta producer Southside. Coming in at 14 tracks, the report options Chief Keef, Young Thug, 21 Savage, and Juice WRLD. It follows final yr’s Humble Beast.

Masayoshi Fujita: Book of Life [Erased Tapes]

Berlin-based composer Masayoshi Fujita has dropped his third solo LP Book of Life. With the brand new album (just like the earlier releases within the Masayoshi trilogy), he locations the vibraphone entrance and heart. “It’s quite a new instrument, but it’s often played in a similar way,” he stated in a press release. “I feel that there is a lot more to explore with this exciting instrument.” Read Pitchfork’s evaluation of the report’s “It’s Magical.”

The Cradle: Bag of Holding [NNA Tapes]

The Cradle is the experimental solo undertaking of New York City’s Paco Cathcart.
