Vampire Weekend have announced their first show in four years. They’ll perform at End of the Road Festival in the UK. The festival spans from August 31 to September 3 and will also feature performances by St. Vincent, Feist, Yo La Tengo, Jeff Tweedy, and others. While it’s the band’s first official performance in four years, Ezra Koenig and other band members have performed separately during that time. Members of the band, for example, performed at a 2016 Bernie Sanders rally.

Last year, Koenig said he was nearly “80% done” with the new album. He later discussed how an opportunity to write for Kanye West inspired him to work with hundreds of collaborators on the new album, but he eventually settled back into his comfort zone. “At the end of the day, the people I’ve ended up enjoying working with are the people I already knew,” he said.

Vampire Weekend’s last album, Modern Vampires of the City, came out in 2013. Read “Ezra Koenig on His New Anime Series and the Next Vampire Weekend Album” on the Pitch.
