Ty Segall Announces New Covers Album Fudge Sandwich

Ty Segall has announced a new covers album called Fudge Sandwich. The LP is out October 26 via In the Red. The record includes Segall’s takes on songs by John Lennon, Grateful Dead, Amon Düül II, Funkadelic, and more. Today, he’s shared a cover of British band Spencer Davis Group’s 1967 song “I’m a Man.” Listen below; scroll down for the Fudge Sandwich tracklist.

Next month, Ty Segall will embark on a solo acoustic tour. In July, he release his joint record with White Fence called Joy. He recently announced a new LP with his band GØGGS, which features Ty on guitars, Fuzz bandmate Charles Moothart on drums and guitar, and Ex Cult’s Chris Shaw on vocals. It’s called Pre Strike Sweep and is out September 28. Segall’s last solo record Freedom’s Goblin arrived in January.
