The Weeknd Gets New Beats 1 Radio Show

The Weeknd is getting his own Beats 1 radio show. It’s called “Memento Mori” and it debuts this Friday, June 8, at 12 p.m. Eastern. According to a press release, the Weeknd is living in Paris and will use the show to share “some of the music that’s been keeping him up late and helping him create some very memorable nights.” Check out the program’s logo below.

The Weeknd joins a growing list of artists who have their own shows on Apple Music’s Beats 1. Drake has “OVO Sound Radio,” where he’s debuted a ton of music since its July 2015 premiere. Other Beats 1 hosts include Vince Staples (“S E A B S”), St. Vincent (“Mixtape Delivery Service”), Vampire Weekend’s Ezra Koenig (“Time Crisis”), and Pharrell (“OTHERtone”).

In March, the Weeknd released his most recent project My Dear Melancholy,. He headlined Coachella the next month.
