Detroit’s experimental hardcore collective the Armed have shared a new video for their song “Role Models,” and the clip stars The Room’s Tommy Wiseau. Watch it below. Directed by Tony Wolski, the clip shows Wiseau dressed up like Swamp Thing; he was instructed by the Armed to “react accordingly” to their song and he does exactly that. “Role Models” appears on the group’s forthcoming album Only Love, which arrives April 27 via Throatruiner Records. Their last studio album, Untitled, came out in 2015. They released a live album, Unanticipated, in 2016.
Wiseau’s cult classic film The Room was recently adapted by James Franco. He went on to win Best Actor in a Motion Picture, Musical or Comedy at the 2018 Golden Globes for his portrayal of Wiseau.
