Tekashi 6ix9ine’s manager Shottie (real name: Kifano Jordan) has surrendered to police in connection with a October 26 incident that left one of 6ix9ine’s bodyguards shot, TMZ reports and Pitchfork can confirm. Jordan has been charged with gang assault and criminal possession of a weapon.

The incident occurred on the night of September 26 when 6ix9ine and his crew attempted to go to a New York City restaurant to celebrate 6ix9ine receiving a probation sentence (and not going to jail) for the use of a child in a sexual performance. The group was turned away, which led two members of the entourage to allegedly “hit an armed private security guard with chair.” The security guard shot 6ix9ine’s bodyguard Faheem Walter, who was hospitalized. According to TMZ, Kifano Jordan “escalated” the confrontation with the security guard.

Faheem Walter and Zachary Bunce (another member of 6ix9ine’s crew) were previously charged with gang assault for their involvement. 6ix9ine’s lawyer has claimed that his client was not present at the time of the shooting.

On Friday, October 26, 6ix9ine was sentenced to four years of probation (with credit for one year previously served) for charges stemming from his 2015 arrest for the use of a child in a sexual performance. He is facing misdemeanor assault charges in two different states.
