Talking Heads’ Tina Weymouth Inducted Into Connecticut Women’s Hall of Fame

The iconic bassist joins the likes of Helen Keller and Katherine Hepburn

Tina Weymouth of Talking Heads and Tom Tom Club will be inducted into the Connecticut Women’s Hall of Fame tomorrow during a ceremony at the Connecticut Convention Center in Hartford, the Associated Press reports. Weymouth lives in Fairfield, Connecticut and will be honored along with actress Anika Noni Rose and ballerina Lucia Chase. The Hall of Fame honors great Connecticut natives and residents. Previous inductees include Helen Keller, Katherine Hepburn, Laura Nyro, and Annie Liebovitz. In 2002, Talking Heads were inducted to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
