John Darnielle and longtime collaborator Matt Douglas recently shared a cover of Bon Iver’s “Blood Bank.” Back in June, the Mountain Goats shared a new track called “Song for Sasha Banks,” dedicated to the WWE professional wrestler. It was specifically requested by Banks following the release of the bands’ wrestling-themed album Beat the Champ. The Mountain Goats’ most recent studio album Goths was released last May. They shared their Marsh Witch Visions EP last October.
