Smashing Pumpkins have released a bizarre music video for their new song, “Solara.” The nightmarish clip was directed by Nick Koenig and involves Billy Corgan wandering through a gothic hellscape as he observes mimes delivering invisible babies, a man in a bow tie spewing black bile, and other horrors. When he escapes, the real world is no less surreal. Check it out below.
“Solara” marks Billy Corgan, James Iha, and Jimmy Chamberlin’s first new music together since 2000. They will embark on a reunion tour next month. Two new EPs from the bands are supposedly in the works.
