Meek Mill made his “Saturday Night Live” debut as musical guest last night (January 26). The episode was hosted by James McAvoy. Check out Meek’s performances of “Going Bad,” “Uptown Vibes“ with Fabolous, and “Championships” from his recent LP of the same name below.

Championships arrived in November 2018, marking Meek’s first album since he was released from prison in April of that year. Since his release, Meek has become a vocal advocate of criminal justice reform, and recently launched the REFORM alliance organization with JAY-Z to address “outdated laws that perpetuate injustice, starting with probation and parole.”

Elsewhere on the show, “Soulja Boy,” played by cast member Chris Redd, stopped by the Weekend Update desk to discuss his game system, the government shutdown, and running for president in 2020. Pete Davidson, Kenan Thompson, and James McAvoy also shared a music video about their adoration for pets called “I Love My Dog.” Check out those videos below as well.
