Massive Attack kicked off the anniversary tour for their 1998 album Mezzanine tonight, January 28, at Glasgow, Scotland’s SSE Hydro. During the performance—which features Cocteau Twins’ Liz Fraser on tour for the first time since 2006—they performed “Angel,” “Teardrop,” “Black Milk,” ”Dissolved Girl,” Velvet Underground cover “I Found a Reason,” and more. Massive Attack’s audiovisual tour features a new Robert Del Naja collaboration with filmmaker Adam Curtis. In a statement, Curtis said, “The show tells the story of the strange journey we have all been on over the past twenty years since Mezzanine was released.”
