The full list of exclusive releases for this year’s Record Store Day Black Friday event has been announced. This year, the event, which celebrates independent record stores, has been expanded to take place over two days, Black Friday (November 23) and Small Business Saturday (November 24). Among the offerings is a limited picture disc of Kyle Dixon and Michael Stein’s Stranger Things: Halloween Sounds Of The Upside Down. Also available are a picture disc edition of Smashing Pumpkins’ new album Shiny and Oh So Bright, Vol. 1 / LP: No Past. No Future. No Sun; Weezer’s cover of “Africa” by Toto on shaped picture disc 10" single (yes it’s in the shape of Africa); and releases from John Coltrane, OutKast, the Grateful Dead, Madonna, Kacey Musgraves, Rage Against the Machine, the Flaming Lips, and others.
