Rae Sremmurd’s Slim Jxmmi Arrested for Misdemeanor Battery

The rapper allegedly pulled his girlfriend’s hair and threw her phone off a balcony

Rae Sremmurd’s Slim Jxmmi has been arrested in Miami on a misdemeanor battery charge, TMZ reports and Pitchfork can confirm. According to the police report, obtained by Pitchfork, Slim Jxmmi got into an argument with his girlfriend, “pulled [her] hair,” kicked down a door behind which she was hiding, took away her phone, and threw the phone outside over a balcony. A representative for the Miami-Dade State Attorney’s Office told TMZ that the woman recanted her story on the record during a court appearance.

Online records, viewed by Pitchfork, indicate that Slim Jxmmi was booked into Miami’s Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center this morning at 11:27 a.m. He was released on $2,500 in the afternoon, according to TMZ.

Rae Sremmurd released their third album, Sr3mm, in 2018. The three-part record included Slim Jxmmi’s solo debut Jxmtro.
