Today, September 7, Mac Miller died at the age of 26. Collaborators and figures from the music world have continued to share tributes to the Pittsburgh rapper. Ariana Grande, who dated Miller for two years, posted a photo of him with no caption. “You inspired me throughout highschool, and I wouldn't be where I was today without you,” writes Post Malone. And in his note, Joey Badass says, “I will forever appreciate you bro you supported me and gave me a shot from the very beginning.” He continues, “Because of you a 17 year old and his friends from Brooklyn got to play in front of 5000 after a day of school. That shit changed my life.” Sufjan Stevens also posted one of Mac’s videos on his Tumblr page. Fiona Apple recorded a video: “I wish I could have made music with him,” she said.
