Soft Cell—the UK synth-pop duo of Marc Almond and David Ball—are back. They have shared their first new song in 15 years. Listen to “Northern Lights” below. The track is taken from a new compilation called The Singles - Keychains & Snowstorms, which is out September 28 (via Universal Music Catalogue). The comp will include a second new song called “Guilty (‘Cos I Say You Are’),” along with hits like “Tainted Love,” “Say Hello Wave Goodbye,” and more.

The Singles is a companion to a forthcoming career-spanning box set called Keychains & Snowstorms: The Soft Cell Story (out September 7 via Universal Music Catalogue). The 10-disc set includes 9 CDs and a DVD that features over four hours of footage.

Soft Cell’s last album, Cruelty Without Beauty, came out in 2002. Next month, Soft Cell will play a farewell reunion concert at London O2 in celebration of their 40th anniversary as a group.
