For the second year in a row, Logic has performed at the MTV Video Music Awards. He did his new song “One Day” with OneRepublic’s Ryan Tedder. Logic wore a shirt that read “Fuck the Wall” and was joined by immigrant families wearing “We Are All Human Beings” on their shirts. At the end, everyone held up candles. Watch below.

Logic and Tedder recently shared the political video for their collaborative track, which features Michael Peña, Judy Reyes, and Luis Guzman. Logic performed “1-800-273-8255” (with Alessia Cara and Khalid) at the 2017 MTV VMAs. The performance incorporated 50 suicide attempt survivors and loss survivors who wore shirts that read “You Are Not Alone.” It led to a spike in phone calls to the suicide hotline. “South Park” also parodied the VMAs performance.

Logic was nominated for two awards at the 2018 VMAs: Best Collaboration and Best Video With a Message, both for “1-800-273-8255.”
