Maroon 5 will perform at the Super Bowl LIII halftime show, The New York Times, Variety, and Billboard report. The game takes place February 3, 2019 at Atlanta, Georgia’s Mercedes-Benz Stadium. It will be broadcast on CBS. In a statement to the publications, the NFL said: “It’s a Super Bowl tradition to speculate about the performers for the Pepsi Halftime Show. We are continuing to work with Pepsi on our plans but do not have any announcements to make on what will be another epic show.” Pitchfork has contacted representatives for Maroon 5.

Justin Timberlake performed at the Super Bowl LII halftime show in Minneapolis earlier this year. Lady Gaga performed the previous year. And, in 2016, Beyoncé, Coldplay, Bruno Mars, and Mark Ronson all took part in the show.
