A visit to the merchandise section of Marilyn Manson’s website will reveal some new items. Namely, there’s an 8" dildo adorned with Manson’s face. Really. The “double cross” dildo also features the artist’s name engraved on the side. “I guess this is...Halloween. #dickortreat,” he wrote of the new item. The website notes that the gothic paint on Manson’s face is “environmentally safe.”

Manson is following in a grand tradition of musicians peddling sexual paraphernalia. In 2013, Swedish metal band Ghost B.C. offered a box set including a bronze butt plug and silicone dildo shaped like their lead singer. In 2009, Rammstein presented their own box set featuring not one, but six dildos, each one inspired by a different member of the band.
Manson’s last LP was last year’s Heaven Upside Down. The artist ran into multiple health issues in the past year, collapsing onstage in August and suffering an apparent meltdown during a performance in February.
