Deerhunter have shared a new single called “Element.” It appears on their forthcoming LP Why Hasn’t Everything Already Disappeared?, which is out on January 18. Listen to the song, which Bradford Cox calls “an elegy for ecology (a landscape done in toxic watercolors),” below.

“Element” is the second song shared from Deerhunter’s new album. They previously released the lead single “Death in Midsummer” in October. Why Hasn’t Everything Already Disappeared? is the follow-up to 2015’s Fading Frontier.
