Singer, actress, and model Justine Skye has been granted a domestic violence restraining order against Sheck Wes, the Blast reports. On Monday, February 11, Skye publicly accused Wes of abuse and claimed that he and a group of men stalked her and her friends and then attacked them. According to documents obtained by the Blast, Wes is ordered to stay 100 yards away from her until a hearing next month. The documents reportedly state Skye believes she’s unsafe, and that her “life is in danger.”

Skye’s restraining order request reportedly detailed an incident on July 26, 2018 where she claims Wes “threatened to punch me in the face, headbutted me, told me he was going to ‘hurt me’.” The Blast has also detailed the LAPD investigative report, obtained by the publication, that Skye filed following the 2018 incident. She reportedly did not immediately bring the matter to the police due to the nature of their “public lives.” Skye reportedly claimed Wes’ label and team asked her not to go to the authorities or make the incident public.

Pitchfork has reached out to representatives for Justine Skye, Sheck Wes, and the Los Angeles Police Department for further information.

Sheck Wes has since denied Skye’s abuse allegations. His legal and management team issued a statement saying Wes “will defend himself against this serious defamation of character with any and all legal remedies available.”
