Jim Jarmusch and Jozef van Wissem Announce New Album, Share New Song: Listen

The filmmaker and lute player’s latest is called An Attempt to Draw Aside the Veil

Filmmaker and musician Jim Jarmusch has announced a new album with his frequent collaborator, the lute player Jozef van Wissem. It’s called An Attempt to Draw Aside the Veil and it’s out February 8 via Sacred Bones. Listen to their new song “Concerning the White Horse” below. “An Attempt to Draw Aside the Veil is another adventure with Jozef into the realm of vibrating strings and the dreamlike musical textures of darkness and light,” Jarmusch said in a statement.

The duo has made multiple albums together. Their last was 2012’s The Mystery of Heaven. Van Wissem also contributed music to Jarmusch’s film Only Lovers Left Alive.
