Jack White and his Third Man Records are opening their first permanent London branch. The Third Man Records London Store is located in the city’s Soho district and opens on September 25. The store, personally designed by White, features a two-level retail space and a live music venue (called “The Blue Basement”) and also serves as a European headquarters for Third Man.

After founding Third Man in Detroit in 2001, White established the first physical Third Man outpost (and current headquarters) in Nashville in 2009. The label opened another store in Detroit in 2015, opening a vinyl pressing plant at the site two years later. White recently launched a website to document his art and design work.
