High on Fire have pulled out of their upcoming “Speed of the Wizard” tour with Municipal Waste due to a medical emergency. A statement from the band reads, “Matt [Pike] has a medical emergency culminating in the partial amputation of one of his toes.” They continue, “The scheduling of this procedure is immediate and the recovery time will overlap our intended tour with MW. We will unfortunately be unable to participate in this tour but will be back stronger than ever in 2019!” The “Speed of the Wizard” tour kicks off without them later this week. Find High on Fire’s canceled dates below.

High on Fire recently released the new album Electric Messiah. Earlier this year, Matt Pike released a new album with Sleep, The Sciences.
