Flea to Publish New Memoir

Back in 2014, Red Hot Chili Peppers bassist Flea announced that he was writing a new memoir. Now, its title and official release date has been revealed. Acid For the Children will arrive November 27, as Exclaim! points out. Grand Central Publishing describes the memoir in its online listing. “Iconic bassist and co-founder of the immortal Red Hot Chili Peppers finally tells his fascinating life story, complete with all the dizzying highs and the gutter lows you’d expect from an LA street rat turned world-famous rock star,” it reads. Back in February, Flea penned an op-ed for TIME about opiate addiction.
