Ethan Hawke has covered Conor Oberst’s previously unreleased demo “LAX.” Listen to Oberst’s recording and Hawke’s rendition below, via Billboard. “LAX” arrives ahead of the Jesse Peretz–directed film Juliet, Naked, which stars Ethan Hawke as a singer-songwriter, Rose Byrne, and Chris O’Dowd. Along with Oberst, the soundtrack features songs written by Ryan Adams, M. Ward, Robyn Hitchcock, and others.

Juliet, Naked hits theaters this Friday. Last year, Conor Oberst dropped his latest solo album Salutations. He was also featured on Phoebe Bridgers debut record Stranger in the Alps with the track “Would You Rather.”
