Janelle Monáe and Grimes have teamed up for “PYNK,” a new song from Monáe’s upcoming album Dirty Computer. It arrives with a music video, directed by Emma Westenberg. The description reads: “PYNK is a brash celebration of creation. self love. sexuality. and pussy power! PYNK is the color that unites us all, for pink is the color found in the deepest and darkest nooks and crannies of humans everywhere... PYNK is where the future is born....” And like Monáe’s other recent videos, “PYNK” stars Tessa Thompson. Watch below.

In an Instagram post, Grimes wrote about the collaboration: “abt a yr ago janelle played me like 20 songs and asked me which one was my fave and i was like ‘def pynk’ which was the right answer {phew} cuz she wanted some harmonies &vibes on it. as per usual feeling blessed to b in the presence of greatness.”

Monáe and Grimes previously collaborated on the Art Angels track “Venus Fly.” The song later received a music video and behind-the-scenes documentary.
