Big Boi has been added to this year’s Super Bowl LIII halftime show performers. Today, the NFL confirmed that the rapper will be joining Travis Scott and headliner Maroon 5. Last month, it was reported that Big Boi and Cardi B were “in talks” to play the event. Since announcing his guest performance at the Super Bowl halftime show, Travis Scott has revealed the deal he made with the NFL to donate $500,000 to the social justice-oriented Dream Corps. The Super Bowl LIII takes place in Atlanta on February 3.
