Ghanaian-American artist, rapper, and producer Amaarae has shared the music video for her The Angel You Don’t Know track “JUMPING SHIP.” The visual, directed by Remi Laudat, features Kojey Radical and Cruel Santino. Watch below. In a press release, Amaarae said:

I’m really excited for everyone to get into this video and more so excited that I was able to get Kojey Radical and Cruel Santino together for this moment. The video is a pretty simple and straightforward concept—the three of us chasing after this Aphrodite figure is a representation of human desire and the need to always indulge our curiosities, which is more or less what “JUMPING SHIP” is about. The director, Remi Laudat did an incredible job with using lighting to create a sensual and soft energy and mood. The Academy Films was incredible to work with (shout out Maurizio!), and we’re all excited to bring “JUMPING SHIP” to life through this video!

Amaarae released her debut project The Angel You Don’t Know last week. Read Pitchfork’s new Rising feature “Get to Know Amaarae, Who’s Expanding the Sound of Afropop.”
