Chvrches have announced a new EP set to arrive this Friday. Hansa Session is a five-track collection of acoustic performances and string quartet arrangements from this year’s Love Is Dead. It’s named after the Hansa Studios in Berlin where David Bowie, Depeche Mode, Nick Cave, and many others have previously recorded. It’s where they recorded their last LP. Hansa Session is available on limited edition 10” vinyl on December 14. Check out the EP’s trailer and tracklist below.

“It was really fun to try and reinterpret the songs and still communicate the messages and emotions with different arrangements,” Lauren Mayberry said in a statement. Chvrches recently shared the song “Out of My Head” with Japanese electropop group Wednesday Campanella.
