Back in February, Cardi B was announced as the special guest for the last leg of Bruno Mars24K Magic tour. Now, after the recent birth of her baby girl Kulture, Cardi has announced that she won’t be joining Bruno on the road. “I thought that after giving birth to my daughter that 6 weeks would be enough time for me to recover mentally and physically,” she wrote in a tweet. “I also thought that I’d be able to bring her with me on tour, but I think I underestimated this whole mommy thing.” Bruno responded with his own message, writing, “We love you Cardi and we will play Bodak Yellow every night in your honor.” See their statements below.

Cardi was scheduled to join Bruno’s tour in September. A new opening act has not yet been announced. Earlier this year, the two teamed up for their collaborative “Finesse (Remix),” which they performed on the Grammys.
