In 1993, Counting Crows shared their debut studio album, August and Everything After. Today, they’ve shared the LP’s previously unreleased and unfinished title track, which the band re-recorded last November with composer Vince Mendoza and the London Studio Orchestra. Listen to the Amazon Original below. Some of the lyrics for “August and Everything After” appear on the record’s album art. “I never really thought much about this song back in the day because it wasn’t finished,” Counting Crows’ Adam Duritz said in a statement. “But when we got the chance to work with Vince Mendoza, I thought it was a good time to rewrite it and get it right.”

Last year, Counting Crows toured in celebration of their 25th anniversary. Their last full-length release was 2014’s Somewhere Under Wonderland.
