After teasing the new track on Instagram, Young Thug has shared a “rough” version of a song called “Free Blac Youngsta.” Listen below. The song backs the eponymous Memphis rapper, who recently turned himself in after being implicated in the February shooting of Young Dolph. “I don’t wish jail on no nigga,” he says toward the end of the song. Last month, Young Thug claimed he was releasing a “singing album” called E.B.B.T.G., and that it was executive produced by Drake. In the last few months, he’s scored a string of features, landing two credits on Drake’s More Life, Rick Ross’ “Trap Trap Trap,” and a sing-heavy guest spot on Calvin Harris’ “Heatstroke,” along with appearances on songs from B.o.B, Meek Mill, and more. Thug has also been sharing new solo songs, including “Safe” and “All the Time.”
