Part of the reason I love Parannoul is because of his emotional singing and poetic lyricism, so I can't say that this is a favorite of mine. It's more interesting to see just how far he'd evolve a mere year after this record. It's listenable, if a bit boring.
Favorite track: Bright Dark, Lost Shoelaces, One Year of Failure.

You'd expect Parannoul to completely outshine the others, given how superior his records are in the genre, and while they are my favorite songs here, the whole album is really solid, and the other two don't slack one bit. Plus that cover art is amazing.
