This game is so good! It has amazing fight sequences, combos, upgraded, treasures, and secrets! It's a Metroid, side-scrolling style, but it's much like the original with much better graphics and fight combos. It does take a little while to open up and learn everything, but wow, it's just hard to put down.

I expected a return to the original style game but this one is lacking something, it feels like a boring hack and slash game albeit with good graphics and the constant dialogue is annoying and the story isn’t compelling enough to warrant all of the dialogue.

Gameplay is very smooth and action oriented. The art style is visually pleasing and the story remains interesting throughout. A nice change of pace for Ubisoft.

If you’re into the metrodvania genre then don’t hesitate to pick this one up. Easily a 10/10 plus it’s one of the few games that takes advantage of the 120hz on the ps5.
